All of our wonderful Welcome Week events were planned by our lovely Vice President, Lydia Essenmacher, with assistance from the rest of House Board. Shout out to Lydia for a job well done! The “week” began on Thursday, move-in day, when the building was filled once again with the sounds of residents, both new and old. That evening we had an ice-breakers activity, one which over half of the residents attended. It provided everyone the chance to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. It was a successful way to end a busy first day. Friday morning began with the MCB tradition of breakfast at Angelo’s, which was delicious as always. Afterwards there were tours for new students to find their classes and a scavenger hunt to help the learn all the sights of Ann Arbor.
That’s all for now, but I’m sure there will be plenty of events to write about soon!
