It's been a busy welcome weekend here at Martha Cook, but the heat didn't stop us! House-board and Res Staff spent the day checking in new and old cookies, and welcoming them back into our beautiful building.
Parent orientations, ice cream, a barbecue, new student convocation... what more could you ask for? Well at Martha Cook we go big or go home, so we continued the evening with ice breakers, and groups of girls that went to artscapade and escapade! There is never a dull moment at our home.
Saturday was a day dedicated to tradition: a walk to Angelo's in the sprinkling rain, delicious breakfast, campus tours, and the most fun of all:
a Slip n' Slide!
Although it was a grey day, the Slip n' Slide couldn't have been more fun! I think we can definitely make the football team now after playing our "catch a football while you go down the slide" game! Umix was another highlight of the week, as many cookies went to the Michigan Stadium to play games, eat food, and hang out on the football field! It's been a really great start to the year so far, and we can't wait to see all else that is in store for the Martha Cook Cookies!
